The Fattoria di Pancole is located at 350 metrs above the sea level. , The production of the wines is based on the production of the vineyards around Fattoria di Pancole. The soil of the vineyards have a strong marine clay component, which is in fact supported by yellow sand and the many marine fossils of the Pliocene era: the hills of San Gimignano were in ancient times submerged by the sea and it is this prehistoric and marine components that guarantees white and red wines with a strong and pleasant minerality.
The Company’s production is represented by the historical local “Vernaccia di San Gimignano” grape, followed by vineyards cultivated with Sangiovese, Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Riesling, Trebbiano, Malvasia and very small productions of Canaiolo, Colorino, Malvasia Nera and Alicante.
The production is focused on some of the most prestigious labels like DOCG, DOC and IGTand an excellent extra vergin olive oil is obtained from our more than 2000 secular plants. All our production is certified organic.
